Accessing interaction data
To see how people are using your buttons, start from the My Buttons menu. Here, you can scroll through your buttons and view metrics that can help you understand how your widgets are resonating with your audience and identify areas for improvement:
Widget Views: The number of times a widget has been viewed by a user. This metric is helpful for understanding how many people are seeing your widgets.
Widget Completions: The number of times a widget has been completed by a user. This metric is helpful for understanding how many people are taking action on your widgets.
Widget Conversion Rate: The percentage of people who viewed a widget and then completed it. This metric is helpful for understanding how effective your widgets are at converting viewers into action-takers.
Click on any of your buttons to see additional metrics on your buttons: how people answered your poll, which lawmakers have been messaged, who's signed your petition, and more.
Tracking metrics for direct advocacy actions
For active "Contact Your Lawmaker" or "Custom Email Target" buttons, you’ll find a table displaying detailed metrics. These metrics include:
The specific recipients of your advocacy efforts (e.g., lawmakers or other key decision-makers)
The total number of messages each recipient has received
Their district and state/province, if applicable
These metrics allow you to track your outreach efforts more precisely, helping you adjust your campaigns based on real-time data.
